Dotted Tips

This is Zoya Dovima with Nubar Wildlife.

I love this combo and how this turned it. It sucks that matte polishes don't last very long, it chipped today (1 day).

Rebecca likes nails contest!

Rebecca likes nails is holding a contest with all of her favorite things! The details are at rebeccalikesnails.blogspot.com, but today is the last day, so if you still wanted to enter you have to hurry. I am late of course because of the 31 day challenge. XD

Of her favortie things I did a subtle animal print on the tips, dots, and added some bows! I hope she likes it!

Here was the first steps done, and I took a picture in case I messed it up added the rest of the things I wanted. XD

31 Day Challenge! Day 26 - Inspired by a Pattern

Here is my pattern that I used a inspiration. It is a shower curtain in my fiance's house.

I love this design! I think it looks pretty similar to the inspiration...

Hmm, next is an artwork. A great chance to plug my own works, huh? :D

31 Day Challenge! Day 22 - Inspired by a Song

(This will tell you how out of touch I am) I chose Fireflies by Owlcity... I did the fireflies at night, as well as the "disco ball ... hanging by a thread" XD

Tomorrow is a movie! And I know which one I am doing! :D

31 Day Challenge! Day 11 - Polka Dots

This is Nubar Wildlife and Reclaim. (Reclaim is the holo green, while wildlife is the duochrome brown to light green)

This was A LOT of fun to do.

Baby Girl!

Yesterday at 8:41, my best friend had a beautiful baby girl.  She looks exactly like her mommy and is super cute. She even came out with black hair, like her mom. :D In honor of the new life, I did baby girl nails!

This was the initial design, but I thought it was too plain.

So I added even more dots! 

This is done with Revlon Pink Chiffon as the base, then dotted with H&M Pink and Sinful colors 24/7.

I figure I may get comments about wanting to see the little girl, but unfortunately the mommy has not given me permission to post her picture and I kind of agree with that sentiment. Sorry! XD

Matte with shiny dots

So I had seen a lot of people doing matte bases with shinies on top, this was my first attempt at replicating.

This is Zoya Sevita with dots of topcoat on top.

I am not too pleased with the result. I think the dots were not shiny enough because of the cheap topcoat I used.

Spiraling Dots

So I feel like I just disappeared for awhile there. I was back in school and was completely blindsided by anxiety, soo it wasn't that I wasn't doing my nails, just that almost everything seemed scary or something. XD

Anyway! I'm back now and feeling better! I'll start off with one of my favorite designs I did with Zoya Marina and Zoya Cynthia from the smoke and mirrors collection. These were new when I did this mani...

and the reverse colors on the other hand.
