Wood Grain design

To start off this is a swatch of SinfulColors Nirvana.

I stamped it with Sally Hansen Forbidden Fudge.

close-up

This was a fun experiment. I saw this stamp and definitively wanted to try to create a design that looked like wood. I think it was pretty successful.

Pink Wednesday Trees

This is A color Club Pink, so I do not know the actual name of it. XD I strpied and dotted it with Orly Liquid Vinyl and Pure Ice Celestial, respectively.

As for how this turned out, I'm not too happy with it, the striper I used was too thick I suppose, or the polish simply was too thick, it is a bit old.

Purple glitter and Matte tips

The base color is Claire's Mystical, I did the tips with Zoya Savita. Then I just added the little white line with a striper brush and Sally Hansen's White On.

Vacation Inspiration

I just got back from visiting family in West Virginia. The drive there is absolutely beautiful, and is what inspired this nail design. It is supposed to look like the blue mountains against the sky.

Base is Treasures of the Sea Crushed Pearl, light blue is Zoya Yummy, and dark blue is Sally Hansen Grey by Grey.

I like the effect I got, not sure it looks like mountains without me planting the idea in your head, but it is still pretty.

Hand painted Pink flowers

This is done with Sally Hansen's Mint Sorbet as the base.
The flowers are Sally Hansen's White On mixed on the nail with NYC Fuchsia Shock Creme.
Then the little leaves are Wet and Wild's Sagreena the Teenage Witch.

Believe it or not I am way in to painting and art in general. Nai polish is an easy way to get my creativity out without the hassle of bringing out a giant canvas and paint, plus the awful clean-up.

Red Lady's

Swatch of NYC Big Apple Red Creme

Then stamped it with Konad Special Black and a lady bug stamp.

Just very cute and happy I thought. :)

Blue floral

Just something simple yet pretty. :)

Zoya Pheobe stamped with Zoya Ibiza.

This is it after a shiney top coat, since Pheobe is normally matte.

Caution Tape Mani

Design chosen by my boyfriend... in other words I am blaming this on him. I may make another attempt at something similar in the future. XD

This is a Wet & Wild, that has no name because it was a sample bottle, which I then taped off and added Sally Hansen's Wet Cement. I topped it all off with a matte top coat.

I am not pleased at all with this, well maybe the colors I used. I have learned a few lessons about tape manis from this though.

1) Make sure your base color is completely dry, so impatience is not good here.

2) Be sure your tape is very stick to your nail, and that there are no gaps at the edges.

And 3) Do not let the top polish dry at all before pulling up the tape.

This mani is not the best looking because I did none of those things... lesson learned though, don't repeat my mistake. XD (And no it really is not my boyfriends fault I guess... )

Chic Pink Wednesday

This stamp always reminded me of cherry blossoms, so I had been planning of stamping it in pink on a light blue. But once I put this polish on I thought the stamp would be a perfect match.

The base is a very old polish called Mirror Shine, by Avon. I stamped it with Sally Hansen, Complete Salon Manicure Gray by Gray.

Grey by Grey is great for stamping. So I have high hopes for the rest of the Complete Salon Manicure set.
