Purple butterflies

I guess I have been feeling purple recently, seeing as this is the second purple design, and I have another one coming up.

This is Sinful Colors Dream On, stamped once with Konad Special black, then the same stamp with the special white. And a top coat of Seche Vite.

This is the same design, but I used a matte top coat instead.

I definitively prefer the shiny top coat.

Cute purple flowers

I rarely am in the mood for something so cute, but I felt this stamp needed to be represented at least once as a cute design. My next attempt at using it will probably not be so much.

This is Sally Hansen's Lacey Lilac, stamped with Zoya Mira

My first holo!

So I loved looking at everyone else's blogs with holos on them. Finally, I have gotten my own! Ty for ebay!

This is DV8 from China glaze. This left pointer nail is the best example of the holo effect. It is simply 2 coats of the polish on a coat of revlon's basecoat.

This shows the comparison of the 2 coats on the pointer finger. The middle finger is 1 coat of the polish, the ring finger is 1 coat of the polish and a top coat of Seche Vite, the pinky is the holo with a matte topcoat on top, and the the thumb is 1 coat of DV8 with a coat of OPI's Movin' out.

obviously nothing is as nice as just 2 coats of the holo polish, but I like to see what else can be done with them, so upon review. I actually like the effect of the pink Movin' out and the matte top coat, but I will never cover up my holo with them again. While they still look amazing, the holo itself looks better in my opinion.

The pinky has 1 coat of holo with OPI's hollywood blond, the ring finger has 1 coat of DV8 and a coat of Grey's Anatomy, the middle finger has 1 coat of the holo and a coat of Sally Hansen's Lime Lights, the pointer has 1 coat of holo and a coat of sinful colors Let Me Go.

I really really dislike nude colors on me, they feel so boring. So Hollywood Blond was a free gift with my ebay order. I was honestly just trying to find a way to make it better to me. Nothing on this hand appealed to me more than the plain holo.

This is the left hand again, just a better shot in my opinion.

Thumb of left hand again. This is the one with OPI's Movin' Out over the holo.

If anyone is concerned about me wasting this wonderful holographic polish. I wore it for a day before doing this testing over it. :)

Super Shiny Pink Wednesday

This is a dark pink by Color Club, which I do not know it's name because it was in a box and I threw the box away. I stamped it with a stamp from Bundlemonster in Konad special white. Then I added 2 coats of OPI's Movin' Out on top.

I love this effect. From the last attempt i did with this stamp design, I knew it did not stamp well, so I used Konad's special white to make sure it would turn out ok.

Very simple blue tips

I loved this concept, but am not as pleased with the results. It was intended to be worn to work as a not too flashy mani, but instead I took it off and redid them at like midnight. None the less I did like the idea and wanted to share it.

This is 3 coats of Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor and the tips are 2 coats of Sally Hansen's Blue me Away

I was really hopeful for Pearl Harbor, but alas another disappointing glitter. It is very hard to see the sparkles and especially hard to capture on camera.

Golden Steampunk Stamping

I really love the whole steampunk idea. I think it is an interesting and unique style and would love to get to learn more about it when I have more time, but until them, nail polish will have to fill the void!

This is wet & wild The Gold and the Beautiful with a design from my master plate over top.

I loved this effect, which is great since I honestly was not in love with this gold color at first. I am beginning to understand though, that every color can look good, if used correctly.

Peacock Gradient and Stamp, Oh my!

I love this bold design. It stands out and looks great.

This is Sally Hansen's HD Resolution, Gradient Sponge painted with Sally Hansen's HD Cyber. Then I stamped it with Bundle Monster's Peacock feather all over stamp.

I was able to wear this to a girl's day pool party and everyone loved it and now they want me to do their nails. Unfortunately I do not do people's nails for them, but will gladly show them how easy it can be.

Green Tips

A much better tip than my last stamped one.
Zoya Apple stamped with Konad Special Black

This was the inspiration, my boyfriends shirt. It's my favorite that he has because it doesn't have a picture of Green Lanturn on it and doesn't have any stupid sayings. XD

Red and Trippy

Done with NYC red polish stamped with Konad special black.

This picture was taken at work because the other hand had started to chip and I didn't want to risk not taking one. lol I really like how it turned out. :D

Pink Wednesday with a hint of Grey

You may think that the title is misleading, but it's not I swear!

This is 2 coats of NYC Fuchsia Shock Creme, with 1 coat Wet & Wind Grey's Anatomy on top.

You can see at the different angles is has a shimmer on it. I love using Grey's Anatomy as a layer over top of other colors. Especially the ones I do not like as much. :) Grey's Anatomy itself is fairly boring, so if you thought about not getting it, I would recommend it even just for this use.

Simple Sparkly Tip

Both of these colors belong to my future sister-in-law, so I actually have no idea what they are. XD

I was feeling simple and blue, I think this pretty much covered that. :)

Super Summery!

This is 2 wet coats of Sally Hansen's Hue, with Zoya Tanzy drag marbled through it, then I stamped it with Konad's Special black.

It came out looking a little Asian, huh?

Crazy and messy!

Some of the Haul I got while at the beach as well as what I first did with it.
I got Nerds polishes... Why? I like Nerds. XD

This is the Nerds green polish and the Nerds pink polish drag marbled.

This is SUPER messy polish, and I had to take the picture before cleaning it up because it was taking so long to dry and i wanted to sleep. ha ha.

Subtle Swirlsies

Done with Zoya's Mod Matte Phoebe stamped with Zoya Ibiza, then I put a coat of Wet and Wild Grey's Anatomy over it.

I actually was really unhappy I got this color when I realized it would take like 5 coats for it to be opaque, but when you put it over other colors I absolutely love it.

My favorite design from my beach week.
Done with a polish called Treasures of the sea and Zoya veruschka  over top as seaweed.

Added some angel fish in Zoya Ibiza.

Water Lillies

More from beach week. Water Lillies. My middle finger nail broke like right after I pained them. :(
Done with Zoya Yummy
Stamped with Zoya Veruschka for the green and Color Club for the Pink

I really liked these, they are so cute. :)

Sea Horses in the current

More beach inspired nails from my beach week. We had limited work space and light since we were camping, so the first image looks better since it was lighter out than the second.
Color Club with Zoya Yummy stamped over top

Sea Horses done over top of that with Konad Special white

I actually like the first image better, but without that lighting it was too subtle, so the sea horses were necessary.

Mash Up for Pink Wednesday

Two VERY different colors together.

You may be surprised by the fact that these colors were pretty close to the colors i had picked for my childhood bedroom. It was a minty teal green with lavender sponge painted on top! Was not very fun painting over last year.

Wave tips from my beach week

The whole time I was at the beach I did water inspired nails. I like pretty much everything I did, this however was prob my least fav.
Done with Color Club nail polish, which I do not know the name of because they are not on the bottles.
And stamped with Konad's Special White

I'll prob be doing a lot more tips now. I have gotten better since these.

Master Plate images

As requested here are the images of my master plate I was given for my b-day, awhile ago. My favorite 3 images are first, followed by a few of me trying to get the whole plate well. They didn't turn out the best, but hope you can see them well enough. :D

Black and White Lace

I wanted to try a stamp on just a base coat for while now, and this looked like the perfect way to do it. What do you think?
Done with Konad's Special Polish in white and black.
I used Sally Hansen's Diamond Base Coat, which I absolutely love, and Seche Vite Top Coat.

I wore this to work and someone asked me "What is wrong with your nails?" Which kinda sucked. XD
