Holographic Bue Stamping

I realize the photograph is a very good, but I really like this design. For it, I used blue moon lagoon which is a holographic light blue by OPI, with NFU Oh 61 which is a very pretty holographic silver. Both of these polishes stamped pretty well with the silver not working as well as the blue.

I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Unfortunately I went swimming the day after I did the design and it chipped off.

What do you think of holographic nail polishes? Personally they're my favorite.

Black Holo Flash Black Hologram Effects

I've decided to partially revive this blog as I think I will be doing my nails more often. I however will be posting as frequently as I was when I first started this blog. My main focus is going to be on my art blog over at bevy art.blogspot.com.

Anyways I decided to start posting again with this simple polish design. I started with the base of Zoya Dovima, which is a black matte polish that looks more gray once it dries. It also has a bit of shimmer in it if top coated. Over that I used 08 flash black hologram effect and I think it's by Layla.

I like to be in the fact and it looks beautiful on the day I spent out on the boat in the sunlight too bad I didn't get any pictures in the sunlight.

What do you guys think of this effect? Like holo polishes?

Blue swirls and Sparkles

More nails! This was many layers of paint because I kept failing to get it right. I ended up with 2 layers of white followed by 3layers of blue bar sparkles by zoya, then finally stamped with white. I do like the way it turned out after all that, but it isn't going to stay on long, it has already started chipping. XD

For some reason when a mani doesn't go the way I want, I don't give up an keep trying to fix it. What do you guys do?

What has no white, but is red and black all over.

I have decided to blog again. So you can expect me to revive a bit. I have a lot of projects going on, and finally making some money from working as a freelance artist.

My posts will probably include small updates on how my daily life is going, maybe some animal pictures, on top of the obligatory nail polish pictures.

In this shot I have posed with one of the picture jasper stones I am working on wire wrapping. Those fished peices will be included on my art blog as they get photographed or posted to etsy.

Thanks to all those who have stuck around and still follow this blog!

Four Leaf Clover Crazy

My St. Patty's Day nails. I went a little 4leaf clover crazy. :p

This is various Green polishes, over Sally Hansen Gilty Pleasure. :D

I actually really like how these turned out, even if the design may seem a bit cluttered.

Blue Glitter Gradient

I wish I could remember the polishes I used for this... Not perfect gradient, but I still think the colors are lovely. :D

Ugly? Tips...

I have major issues using these kinds of tip stamps... They look so pretty, but I just can't seem to get them to turn out right... anyone else have this issue?
