Blue swirls and Sparkles

More nails! This was many layers of paint because I kept failing to get it right. I ended up with 2 layers of white followed by 3layers of blue bar sparkles by zoya, then finally stamped with white. I do like the way it turned out after all that, but it isn't going to stay on long, it has already started chipping. XD

For some reason when a mani doesn't go the way I want, I don't give up an keep trying to fix it. What do you guys do?

What has no white, but is red and black all over.

I have decided to blog again. So you can expect me to revive a bit. I have a lot of projects going on, and finally making some money from working as a freelance artist. 

My posts will probably include small updates on how my daily life is going, maybe some animal pictures, on top of the obligatory nail polish pictures.

In this shot I have posed with one of the picture jasper stones I am working on wire wrapping. Those fished peices will be included on my art blog as they get photographed or posted to etsy.

I actually really like how these turned out, even if the design may seem a bit cluttered.

25 Days of Christmas Lights

I had this idea a little while ago, not sure how I feel about the result. I may try to perfect it more if I do this design again.

White base with a pearly polish over top. Then used a nail art pen for the strings. Various colors for the lights. :)

Please let me know if you like the design and think I should do another attempt. XD

I have never tried this stamp before so I thought now would be a good time. :D

I used Zoya Veruschka and Zoya Posh, Over Sally Hansen White On to make sure that the 2 colors stood out against each other.

These colors marbled brilliantly by the way!

The base for this is OPI DS Extravagence, but I can't seem to find or remember what I used to stamp.

Bloody Halloween

So I know these are a bit messy, however I kind of wanted to show the red on my skins because it looks like cuts to me. XD

Done with some red polish (no idea which one I grabbed, since I have a ton of them) Over Sally Hansen White On

Cotton Candy Spun Sugar Nails

I am posting these a bit late. XD I actually did them last weekend and forgot to post the pic. I did the design for our county fair. I <3 Cotton Candy! :D

A few tips I learned from doing this. I used a tutorial from youtube, but here are some things worth mentioning (some of them the video did not) 

1) Super fast drting polish didn't really work for me

2) The polish must sit for a little bit to get "gooey" in order to make the strings.

3) It makes a little bit of a mess, but it was a lot of fun! And look how cute the finished product is!

Crazy Lisa Frank Nails

Nostalgia can be scary... These were in honor of my younger self who was in love with everything by Lisa Frank.

I put a pink base down and then used some Lisa Frank Stick on Designs... I found them among my old nail supplies. XD

Brown and Gold with some bling

This is another mani using Sally Hansen Forbidden Fudge. I also used Complete Salon Manicure Guilty Pleasure. 

I don't think I use these little gemmy things enough. They deff add something to the french mani, what do you think?

Blue dots!

I cannot even remember or find the polishes I used for this. XD

It makes me think of rugrats for some reason, maybe like it just reminds me of cartoon children in general. lol

Cracked Neon Rainbow

I used all of Pro's Neon polishes for this, painting in stripes diagonally. Then added some black crackle, love the effect!

Lacy red on gold

Love how this turned out! Wish I could remember the polishes I used. XD
